“I have many in this city who are my people.”
Acts 18:9-10, And the Lord said to Paul one night in a vision, “Do not be afraid, but go on speaking and do not be silent, for I am with you, and no one will attack you to harm you, for I have many in this city who are my people.”
Paul had many reasons to be discouraged in his work, beatings, treachery, prison. And he also had the direct guidance of the Lord, both in checking him and directing him. We can have this same confidence, that despite what we see God is working and moving to accomplish all that He desires through us! We can take heart in His divine providence and guidance for our steps!
Guide us in Your ways every day, O Lord!
