He is actually not far from each one of us.
Acts 17:26-28, And he made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined allotted periods and the boundaries of their dwelling place, that they should seek God, in the hope that they might feel their way toward him and find him. Yet he is actually not far from each one of us, for “‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are indeed his offspring.’”
It’s wonderful to consider how Paul related to the people of Athens in their own culture without diluting the truth. How wonderful it is to consider this truth, that God is not very far from each one of us! Are we able to hear His call and to respond in seeking Him? For He is not very far from each of us. He is ready to reveal Himself to all who will seek Him and worship Him in spirit and in truth. Do we seek Him?
We do indeed seek You O Lord; reveal Yourself as we worship You today!
