Much encouragement.
Acts 20:1-2, After the uproar ceased, Paul sent for the disciples, and after encouraging them, he said farewell and departed for Macedonia. When he had gone through those regions and had given them much encouragement, he came to Greece.
We see Paul moving back through the regions where he preached to encourage the new believers in Christ. Too often the focus is on some one-time encounter and not discipleship. Are we taking the time with those who come to Christ to both pray for them and see that they are nurtured and growing in their faith? And are we also being discipled and growing in our own faith?
Give us Your eternal perspective on all that we do and say with other believers, that we may be encouraged while we also encourage each other!
