A clear conscience toward both God and man.

Acts 24:14-15, But this I confess to you, that according to the Way, which they call a sect, I worship the God of our fathers, believing everything laid down by the Law and written in the Prophets, having a hope in God, which these men themselves accept, that there will be a resurrection of both the just and the unjust. So I always take pains to have a clear conscience toward both God and man.

Paul is always ready to confess the power of Christ in his life, and to affirm the faith of our fathers, the written scripture given by prophecy, and the marvelous hope we have in Christ Jesus. For He has done what no man could ever do, to justify us fully by faith through grace, to raise us from the death of sin into His new life! Only by the cross are we able to boldly approach the throne of grace to receive mercy in our time of need. Do we use the power that we have in Christ to have a clear conscience toward both God and man?

We thank You that as we confess our sin, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sin and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness!
