Acts 23:23-24, Then he called two of the centurions and said, “Get ready two hundred soldiers, with seventy horsemen and two hundred spearmen to go as far as Caesarea at the third hour of the night. Also provide mounts for Paul to ride and bring him safely to Felix the governor.”
We see God’s amazing provision for Paul in an overwhelming force for that day to give him safe passage given the very real threat of zealots out to kill him. Paul is a prisoner, and yet he is given mounts for him to ride in comfort and safety. And the tribune even provides his own opinion that Paul has done nothing to violate the law, that this is all about a religious matter. How amazing is God’s provision for so many things that we just take for granted?
We thank You for all of your amazing provision for us and we give glory to Your name!
