Let him pray.
James 5:13, Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.
James gives us insight into prayer and praise. Paul tells us to pray without ceasing, and James adds praise. There are certainly times of suffering that come to us all and his answer is to pray. And when we are feeling good, we can offer up praise to the Lord! Most of us have no trouble remembering to pray when we are suffering. How well do we sing praises when we are cheerful?
We thank You that You hear our prayers and that even when we are not suffering we can offer up a sacrifice of praise to Your glory, Lord!
