Come out of her.
Revelation 18:4-5, Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.”
We are to be in the world, but not of the world. There are too many churches and people who decide to syncretize their beliefs with the limited wisdom of the world. Worldly wisdom is limited because it comes from a closed system that claims to have its own standard for knowledge and morality. And any knowledge or morality then becomes acceptable except that which is given from the one true, living God, creator of heaven and earth and who breathed life into the first Adam. And we who know the second Adam, Jesus Christ, have access to the wisdom that is from God, and to the power to transform our minds as we seek to know him better every day. Are we seeking after the things of this world or do we seek to know God better every day as revealed in his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, by the power of his Holy Spirit?
Let us not be conformed to this world, but transform our renewal of our minds “that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
