Without hesitation.

Acts 10:19-22, And while Peter was pondering the vision, the Spirit said to him, “Behold, three men are looking for you. Rise and go down and accompany them without hesitation, for I have sent them.” And Peter went down to the men and said, “I am the one you are looking for. What is the reason for your coming?” And they said, “Cornelius, a centurion, an upright and God-fearing man, who is well spoken of by the whole Jewish nation, was directed by a holy angel to send for you to come to his house and to hear what you have to say.”

Peter had just gotten the shock of his life, the Lord commanding him in a dream to “take and eat” of all sorts of animals deemed under the law to be “unclean.” And this went much further than a dream, for Peter was about to be sent directly to a group of Gentiles who the Lord was calling to be his own! Peter had a choice, to stay by his tradition and legalistic training, or else to be open to the prompting of the spirit, to accomplish all that God wanted to do in that moment under his new covenant covered by the blood of Christ. Peter chose to obey without hesitation. Are we ready to ask, seek and find, obeying the prompting of the Holy Spirit?

We want to move according to your prompting to bring glory to your Name, O Lord!
