The righteousness of God.
Romans 1:16-17, For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith, as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”
Paul was on track to be the religious leader of all time until he was called up short by the risen Lord Jesus Christ, on the road to Damascus. He recognized that he was called to the good news of Jesus, that by faith we are saved through faith, and that not of ourselves, as a free gift because Jesus paid the price once and for all. Have I thanked the Lord today for his marvelous gift of faith?
