Those whom He desired
Mark 3:13, And he went up on the mountain and called to him those whom he desired, and they came to him.
Jesus had become immensely popular and had to withdraw, but the crowds followed Him anyway. And He withdrew again, calling those whom He desired, to fulfill His purpose. He called only the twelve as apostles, not a multitude. He calls us according to His purpose; how has He called us?
Let us hear Your call and come to You to be appointed to Your purpose!
