“Come and see.”
John 1:45-46, Philip found Nathanael and said to him, “We have found him of whom Moses in the Law and also the prophets wrote, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.” Nathanael said to him, “Can anything good come out of Nazareth?” Philip said to him, “Come and see.”
Jesus called Philip by saying “Follow me,” and he did, recognizing Jesus from the scripture. His friend Nathanael was skeptical, but Philips simple invitation was enough! He did come to see for himself and found that Jesus already knew him. And once he came to Him, Nathanael was quick to recognize Him as the Son of God!
We thank You that You reveal Yourself to us by the gift of faith!
