Rivers of living water.

John 7:37-39, On the last day of the feast, the great day, Jesus stood up and cried out, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’ ” Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Jesus promised the woman at the well that if she had asked, He would have given her living water, saying “Everyone who drinks of this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.” And now we have this same promise, that those who ask will receive: “If you then, who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will the heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him!” He asks us to allow His rivers of living water to flow through us!

Thank You that when we ask it will be given to us; when we seek we will find; when we knock it will be opened to us. Let Your rivers of living water flow out of our hearts today!
