Full of grace and truth.
John 1:14, And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
The law was given by Moses, and in itself has no power to help us. Paul calls it a schoolmaster or guardian until Christ came, “in order that we might be justified by faith.” Christ came and was rejected even by His own people, “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.” “For God has done what the law, weakened by the flesh, could not do. By sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh and for sin, he condemned sin in the flesh, in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.” His grace was costly, for it came by the shed blood of His own Son, the Lamb of God. What amazing grace!
We have received from Your fulness grace upon grace to walk according to the Spirit!
