He called you.

2 Thessalonians 2:13-14, But we ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God chose you as the firstfruits to be saved, through sanctification by the Spirit and belief in the truth. To this he called you through our gospel, so that you may obtain the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We have been chosen, not by works of righteousness that we have done, but by His grace and mercy, to be saved, sanctified and to believe in Christ. Our security is in Him, no matter what happens in the world, no matter what spirit of rebellion arises. We come humbly before His throne of grace, pleading for those who do not know Him, that He might reveal Himself to all who are being saved. We already know how Paul viewed these believers, “For what is our hope or joy or crown of boasting before our Lord Jesus at his coming? Is it not you? For you are our glory and joy.”

We thank You for all those who You are calling to life!
