They cast their crowns before the throne.
Revelation 4:10b-11, They cast their crowns before the throne, saying, “Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”
John gets a glimpse of heaven, of the throne room of amazing glory, with these twenty-four elders having golden crowns. Yet they willingly give up their crowns to give glory to God. Do we seek to bring glory to His name?
We thank You for all that You have done and all You are going to do; show us how we can bring glory to Your name!
