Stand firm ... in love.
1 Corinthians 16:13-14, Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.
Being strong in the faith is different than being harsh. Our faith is a gift from God to begin with but it’s far too easy for me to be given over to my own strength. Thankfully, He has given us His Holy Spirit that we can allow Him to live through us so that all that we do is done in love. Am I trying to stand in my own strength or allowing Jesus to work through me?
Thank You for the gift of faith; that in You we have our strength. Work through me today so that all that I do may be done in Your love.
