Victory.

1 Corinthians 15:56-58, The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brothers, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that in the Lord your labor is not in vain.

Clearly, death still has its sting. And yet now we can be encouraged to abound in the good works He gives us, for one day we will be transformed by the victory He has given us. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, safe and secure. Have we asked for His joy to pervade all that we do today?

Fill us with Your hope and the joy of Your victory as we allow You to live within us to accomplish what only You can do!
