If the dead are not raised.
1 Corinthians 15:32, What do I gain if, humanly speaking, I fought with beasts at Ephesus? If the dead are not raised, “Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die.”
The early believers faced danger every day, as do many believers in other parts of the world. Their faith went beyond some benefit in this life to the promise of a new, resurrected life in Christ. We have many blessings in this life, even though we may not always give enough thanks for them. Do we really appreciate all that He has done for us? Have we given thanks that one day we will be raised with Christ?
We thank You that no matter what happens we will be resurrected to be with You, Jesus!
