He is coming with the clouds.
Revelation 1:5b-7, To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.
The good news gives us the opportunity to recognize Jesus as the way, the truth and the life; to come to Him and be free from the power of sin and death. As Peter wrote, there will be skeptics who say that everything will continue just as it has. But there is a reason, for the Lord is “patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.” His call is to “come to Me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” His yoke is easy, and His burden is light!
We thank You for the rest that can only be found in You.
