“This is the way, walk in it.”

Isaiah 30:20-21, And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, yet your Teacher will not hide himself anymore, but your eyes shall see your Teacher. And your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left.

Jesus has told us that in this world we will have trouble, and that we are to fear not, for He has overcome the world. He has given us His promised Holy Spirit, foretold by the prophets and delivered to believers today. He is the ultimate Helper, who empowers us to keep His commandments which are not burdensome. We are to love God and love one another and to follow Him wherever He leads us. What a wonderful promise we have for when we ask, and take the time to listen for His still, small voice, He will direct or steps!

Lord, I need Your wisdom, protection, provision and guidance today; open my ears, for I want to walk in Your way today!
