Matters of justice.

Jeremiah 12:1, Righteous are You, O Lord, that I would plead my case with You; Indeed I would discuss matters of justice with You: why has the way of the wicked prospered? Why are all those who deal in treachery at ease?

One might ask the very same question today, and wonder how long this can continue, and how much worse it can get. Consider the most unjust act of all time in which Jesus Christ is unlawfully tried, convicted, tortured and crucified. Yet in this vile act, “He who had no sin became sin for us that we might become the righteousness of God.” In Christ, we have access to the same power that raised Him from the dead! Even injustice can ultimately be turned by God to His glory.

We thank You for our redeemer in Jesus Christ; give us the strength for our time that we may look to You in every situation, no matter how unjust.
