The obedience of the peoples.
Genesis 49:10, The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler’s staff from between his feet, until Shiloh comes, and to him shall be the obedience of the peoples.
We see the promise of scripture in so many ways. The blessing of Judah as the tribe of the King comes not only from Jacob, but also from the Lord. At each generation, He carries the promise of His Seed forward ultimately to Jesus Christ, King of Kings and Lord of Lords. What kind of love is this that pours out His grace upon us through Jesus?
Thank You for loving the world enough to send us Your Son; show us the ways Your Kingdom is at hand today.
