Joseph is still alive.

Genesis 45:25-28, Then they went up from Egypt, and came to the land of Canaan to their father Jacob. And they told him, saying, “Joseph is still alive, and indeed he is ruler over all the land of Egypt.” But he was stunned, for he did not believe them. When they told him all the words of Joseph that he had spoken to them, and when he saw the wagons that Joseph had sent to carry him, the spirit of their father Jacob revived. Then Israel said, “It is enough; my son Joseph is still alive. I will go and see him before I die.”

God’s amazing provision is hard to believe; all of the years that Jacob thought Joseph was dead are turned around in one instant. On seeing the amazing provision that came to his family, he wanted only to see Joseph once again. We are blessed to know the end of the story, that no matter what happens our Redeemer lives, and that He cares for us. Even if we go through tough times, we know what will ultimately happen and that He will be with us.

We thank You that You are alive and for Your promise to never leave us nor to forsake us.
