The coming day of God.

1 Peter 3:11-12, Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what sort of people ought you to be in holy conduct and godliness, looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, on account of which the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the elements will melt with intense heat!

We’re in an amazing season of our year. So many people are focused on the physical, temporal aspect of Christmas that they may miss out on the joy of this season! If you meet someone who is stressed out today, take a moment to remind them of the joy that is available. Take your kids outside on a “midnight clear,” and look up at the stars remembering the majesty of the moment of God become flesh, when “Angels we have heard on high” sang of His glory to humble shepherds!
