Encourage one another.

1 Thessalonians 5:8-11, But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation. For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, who died for us, that whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him. Therefore encourage one another, and build up one another, just as you also are doing.

We need encouragement far more than we need criticism. Calling others to His new life was what Jesus did: “Follow me.” “Your sins are forgiven.” “Ye must be born again.” “Come unto Me!” He came not to condemn the world but to save it! We are called to tell others what He has done for us.

May I always speak Your truth in love; give me the right words to tell others about You, Lord.
