Sown in peace.

James 3:17-18, But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Do we see ourselves as sowers of the seed whose fruit is righteousness? Too many times I know that I’m sowing seeds of discord, discontent and disturbance. How much better it is to sow seed that produces the fruit of righteousness! And He will give us that seed and show us where the fertile ground is when we ask.

We need Your wisdom that we may sow in peace seed that produces the fruit of righteousness, Lord.
