Christ’s slave.
1 Corinthians 7:20-24, Let each man remain in that condition in which he was called. Were you called while a slave? Do not worry about it; but if you are able also to become free, rather do that. For he who was called in the Lord while a slave, is the Lord’s freedman; likewise he who was called while free, is Christ’s slave. You were bought with a price; do not become slaves of men. Brethren, let each man remain with God in that condition in which he was called.
While Paul was addressing a particular cultural condition of his time, we can learn from this that God is able to use us right where we are. There are people we know and work with who need His touch today. Perhaps He may call us in some other way, but the exciting part is that He is ready and willing to us right where we are today!
Use me in every situation to bring Your good news to someone, Lord.
