1 Corinthians 6:11, And such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, and in the Spirit of our God.
Paul has an impressive list of reasons that show all are unrighteous, that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. On our own, we cannot come before a Holy God; when we come to Jesus Christ, He has taken our place on the cross that when we stand before God He sees Jesus Christ. What amazing grace; how can anyone refuse it?
Give us compassion for those who have not yet accepted Your amazing grace; we pray that their eyes may be opened today that they may join those who are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and Your Holy Spirit.
