You shall receive power.
Acts 1:8, “…but you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”
The disciples were interested in the restoration of earthly power and how soon that would happen. Jesus is interested in spiritual power and eternal matters. As we wait upon the Lord, He will supply us with power by His Holy Spirit to accomplish things that we can never do on our own.
We seek Your timing, and Your priorities by the power You give us.
