Teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.
Acts 5:41-42, So they went on their way from the presence of the Council, rejoicing that they had been considered worthy to suffer shame for His name. And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they kept right on teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.
The apostles were put in prison, threatened and flogged and ultimately killed for their boldness in proclaiming and teaching Jesus Christ and His good news, refusing to deny Him. And they considered themselves blessed to be considered worthy to suffer for His name. What would they be able to do today with the freedom that we have to speak? Are we praying and seeking the opportunity to speak freely about Jesus?
We thank You for the freedom to speak freely; open the way for us to tell others about You, Lord.
