No other name under heaven.

Acts 4:12, “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved.”

There are those who are offended at this idea that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth and the life and that no one comes to the Father but by Him. He came to set us free, why would we need any other way except to satisfy our own pride? And most importantly, if there were any other way at all, this would mean that He went to the cross for no reason. He went to the cross because it was the only way to set us free from the power of sin and death. And by rising from the bonds of death, He proved that He has the power to raise us all!
