That the Son of God may be glorified by it.

John 11:3-4, The sisters therefore sent to Him, saying, “Lord, behold, he whom You love is sick.” But when Jesus heard it, He said, “This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God may be glorified by it.”

We look to the immediate, the temporal, the things seen. He looks to the eternal, the spiritual and things unseen. His ways are far above ours and His purposes are far more important than anything that we think is important. Do we really trust Him?

I look to You, O Lord; You are in control, accomplish Your purpose through our lives to bring glory to Your Name.
