Forgive.

Mark 11:24-25, "Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted you. And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your transgressions."

This seems to be an outrageous statement, for we all have offered sincere prayers, seemingly not answered. Perhaps we need to focus not only on giving thanks for what He is doing, believing that we have indeed received, but also upon forgiving transgressions? Perhaps there is someone or something we need to forgive?

Open our eyes to those people and circumstances where we need to offer up forgiveness, that our prayers be not hindered before Your mighty throne of grace!
