I do not seek my own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.

John 5:30, "I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me."

Perhaps we overcomplicate things. Here we have it, from the Son of God. He came as one of us, born as a baby, growing in wisdom and stature, in the eyes of God and man, seeking not to be Himself. He sought instead to do the will of the Father. Perhaps we could benefit from His wisdom?

Show me Your will and Your way, O Lord, I want to hear You!
