Permit the children to come to Me.

Mark 10:13, And they were bringing children to Him so that He might touch them; and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and said to them, "Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these."

It seems things went in one ear and out the other with the disciples, just as it sometimes does with us. It was only a few verses back that Jesus made it clear the importance of receiving a child, nourishing a child and building into their lives. Thankfully, He is patient with us as He was with them, wanting us to recognize the great benefit in coming to Him as a child!

Lord, give us that child-like faith; for we do want to enter Your kingdom!
