"Follow Me."

Mark 8:34, And He summoned the multitude with His disciples, and said to them, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me."

It has always amazed me the way the early disciples heard His call "follow Me," and did exactly that. I've always had a wide variety of interests, but lately they all seem pale compared to hearing His call for this time of life, and following Him. I'm sure that He has given us our interests for a reason, and perhaps we overcomplicate all this. Am I ready to listen daily for that still, small voice that is calling?

Help me to listen carefully during each day, not to be distracted, to be led by Your Holy Spirit.
