Why are you so timid?
Mark 4:40, And He said to them, "Why are you so timid? How is it that you have no faith?"
Certainly they had some idea of who Jesus was by the time they embarked to cross the sea. His own response to the impending storm was to go to sleep, but I'm sure if I had been there I'd have been shaking Him awake as well. His questions still need to be asked today. For when we are faced with doubt, discouragement and fears, we need not be timid and faithless!
We thank You that You never leave us alone, that You inspired us to have courage and that You have given us the gift of faith!
