Their way will be like slippery paths to them.

Jeremiah 23:11-12, "For both prophet and priest are polluted; even in My house I have found their wickedness," declares the Lord. "Therefore their way will be like slippery paths to them, they will be driven away into the gloom and fall down in it. For I shall bring calamity upon them, the year of their punishment," declares the Lord.

Truly, we are on this same slippery slope in our own culture, for we see even those who claim to be spiritual polluted as in the day of Jeremiah. We must pray for our spiritual leaders, for their protection. We are blessed to have many leaders who have not fallen prey to the enemy, and we need to lift them up to the Lord. We can give thanks for the many faithful ministries in our land and know that ultimately the Lord will deal with those who are sowing unrighteousness.

Protect our faithful spiritual leaders, who are committed to Your good news.
