King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Isaiah 33:22, For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; He will save us—
Isaiah describes the glories of Zion, not the least of which is its government. “And the government shall be upon His shoulders.” The founders of our own country knew the wisdom of checks and balances between the judicial, legislative and executive branches of our country’s government. In that day, we will have a leader who is divinely just, and who is not only King of Kings and Lord of Lords, but is forever our high Priest.
We thank You that You are indeed the Way, the Truth and the Life, and that by Your blood we are welcomed into Your eternal presence!
