Seek the things that are above.

Colossians 3:1-4, If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

The things of this world easily distract us. We who have been raised with Christ know that when we seek first His kingdom, He will supply the things we need in life. We are to ask that it may be given to us, seek that we may find and knock that the door may be opened to us. For we know that He will be faithful to give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him! Are we asking Him to stir our affections for Christ today?

Stir our affections for Christ, O Lord; fill us with Your Holy Spirit!
