Rest awhile.

Mark 6:30-31, The apostles returned to Jesus and told him all that they had done and taught. And he said to them, “Come away by yourselves to a desolate place and rest a while.” For many were coming and going, and they had no leisure even to eat.

Time after time we see Jesus going away to a desolate place to be with his father. There is a time and place for ministry and also a great need to rest. It’s easy to think that since the work is for teh Lord there is an overriding importance; Jesus shows us that we must also have time to be refreshed.

Give us discernment when to be active and when we need rest!
