Unbelief.
Mark 6:5-6, And he could do no mighty work there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them. And he marveled because of their unbelief. And he went about among the villages teaching.
The people of Jesus own hometown knew that he was a carpenter’s son, and could not accept that he was able to teach and show the power of God through the many miracles that he did in other places. The very people who thought they knew him well missed out! How many today think that they know him, and miss what he wants to do by unbelief?
We want to know you better each day; keep us from this kind of presumptive unbelief!
