The bridegroom came.

Matthew 25:8-11, And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ But the wise answered, saying, ‘Since there will not be enough for us and for you, go rather to the dealers and buy for yourselves.’ And while they were going to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the marriage feast, and the door was shut.

Jesus receives all who will come to him: “But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.” He invites us to receive his great gift of grace by the power of the cross, and he gives us the promise of his Holy Spirit. For it is not by our own might or power, but by his Spirit that he is able to use us to bring glory to his name. Are we seeking the anointing of his Spirit, are we seeking to be filled every day?

Fill us with your spirit that we may be of use at any moment in your amazing plans!
