A hidden wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 2:6-7, Yet among the mature we do impart wisdom, although it is not a wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are doomed to pass away. But we impart a secret and hidden wisdom of God, which God decreed before the ages for our glory.

The wisdom of the good news confounds the wise of this world, for it appears as the ultimate foolishness that God would become a helpless infant and grow up as one of us: “For to us a child is born, a son is given, and the government shall be upon his shoulders, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.” To the world the cross is folly, weakness and death; to those who are being saved it is the power and wisdom of God in Christ. And he offers us the power of his Spirit, that we may be filled and taught, and that we might understand the things of God! Come, Holy Spirit!

Teach us your wisdom, interpret spiritual truths to those who are spiritual!
