He withdrew from them, and took the disciples with him.

Acts 19:8-10, And he entered the synagogue and for three months spoke boldly, reasoning and persuading them about the kingdom of God. But when some became stubborn and continued in unbelief, speaking evil of the Way before the congregation, he withdrew from them and took the disciples with him, reasoning daily in the hall of Tyrannus. This continued for two years, so that all the residents of Asia heard the word of the Lord, both Jews and Greeks.

We see Paul continuing to keep the main thing the main thing, preaching the word and then planting a church, now in Ephesus. As the opposition mounted, he did not confront it, nor protest it but simply with drew to another place outside of the Synagogue to continue to preach the word and build up those who believed. With his model of ministry, he brought the word to much of the known world of his day!

Guide us in our own ministry of today, that we keep the main thing the main thing, and preach your word and build up your church!
