The Helper
John 15:26-27, “But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me. And you also will bear witness, because you have been with me from the beginning.”
Jesus told his disciples that even though they would suffer for his name he would give them strength. No one goes looking for suffering, but when it comes we can depend on the same Helper that we too may bear witness of him!
Thank you for the gift of your Holy Spirit; may we hear and follow his prompting today!
