“I know him.”

John 8:54-55, Jesus answered, “If I glorify myself, my glory is nothing. It is my Father who glorifies me, of whom you say, ‘He is our God.’ But you have not known him. I know him. If I were to say that I do not know him, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and I keep his word.”

Jesus is very clear about who he is; the way, the truth and the life: “No one comes to the Father except through me.” Since he does not lie just to gain followers; it’s not necessary for us to soften his message or to make it “seeker friendly.” There is no other name by which we may be saved but the name of Jesus.

We trust in you as the way, the truth and the life that we may come to the Father!
