Listen to him.
Mark 9:6-8, For he did not know what to say, for they were terrified. And a cloud overshadowed them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son; listen to him.” And suddenly, looking around, they no longer saw anyone with them but Jesus only.
Jesus told them that some there would see the Kingdom of God after it has come with power, and when they did catch a glimpse of his glory they were terrified! And when we are terrified, we sometime, like Peter, say things instead of asking for wisdom. We have access to the ultimate source of wisdom, the Holy Spirit, and his marvelous gifts.
Show us your way as we listen more to you, Lord.
