Paul was unfairly accused and a mob stirred up on the basis of gossip. How easily we believe an unverified report about others. The amazing plan of God carries Paul into the protection of the Roman centurion! Evil actions are never justified, yet God can use what was meant for evil for His plan. He is in control!
