Bring him safely

Acts 23:23-24, And he called to him two of the centurions, and said, “Get two hundred soldiers ready by the third hour of the night to proceed to Caesarea, with seventy horsemen and two hundred spearmen.” They were also to provide mounts to put Paul on and bring him safely to Felix the governor.

We should never underestimate the power of an omnipotent God. Forty conspirators had taken a vow of fasting from both food and water until they had killed Paul. What could stop something that power but a faithful nephew who overheard the plot and a Roman Centurion smart enough to use overwhelming force in the middle of the night to protect an accused Roman citizen! What amazing things God is able to use to accomplish His plans!

We put all of our trust in You; use us today in Your amazing plan.
